All About Me
Growing up - I went to Webberville. While growing up I had horses and showed them at the Ingham County Fair.
Bangkok Thailand - When I was 15, my dad took a sabbatical from MSU, to work for UNICEF, training Science teachers. Our family packed up and moved to Bangkok, Thailand where my brother and I went to the International School of Bangkok. What an opportunity! When his term was over, we moved back to Webberville, where I finished high school at WHS.
This will be my 22nd year teaching at Fowlerville. I received my Elementary teaching certificate and my master’s degree from MSU. I have taught kindergarten – junior high, and I love teaching fifth grade! My family is very important to me. I have 2 grown children; Heather and Joshua, Heather’s husband Joe, Josh’s wife Maria, and 6 beautiful grandchildren; Haley, Hunter, Ava, Jonny, Aden and Carson! My parents, Richard and Shirley McLeod, live in the area and help out in the classroom often. I have a brother Scott, my niece Inez and my great nephew Wesley. Some of my favorite things are: horseback riding, reading, hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and friends!
